Environment Agency Wales releases salmon into Taff

Environment Agency Wales is releasing more than 100,000 young salmon into the River Taff and its tributaries. The mass release started last week and will continue until the start of October. It is part of an annual programme which continues to support the salmon population in the Taff as mitigation for the Barrage at Cardiff Bay.
